Mountain bike stunt shows, have-a-go circus skills & cycling obstacle course, dance shows, stalls, in-store offers & more! Many activities free.
Truro BID will be bringing back the popular Children’s Day to Truro City Centre on Saturday 20th June.
Families will be able to enjoy exciting mountain bike stunt shows on Lemon Quay, along with stalls, dance performances and have-a-go sessions in circus skills with Swamp Circus. There will also be a bicycle obstacle course (bikes and helmets provided), relaxed ‘Learn to Ride’ area’, manual bike machine for off-roading practice and ‘Doctor Bike’ (people can bring their bikes for repair).
There will be other activities taking place across the city including street entertainment and kids’ rides. Some of Truro’s shops and eateries will be offering special family-friendly in-store activities and offers.
Children’s Day will feature lots of activities for all ages. Many of the activities will be free, although there will be a cost for some activities (such as crazy golf and the swing boats).
Stalls open from 9am, with activities such as with circus skills and mountain bike stunt shows starting from 10am.
The event is organised and funded by Truro BID and sponsored by Coodes Solicitors.
