Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
1.1. The Promoter is Cornwall’s Rewind Radio (“the Promoter”).
2. Eligibility
2.1. The competition is open to residents of Cornwall aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
2.2. Proof of age and Cornwall residency may be required before a prize is awarded.
2.3. Employees of Cornwall’s Rewind Radio, associated companies, prize suppliers, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) or persons living in the same household are not eligible to enter.
2.4. The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and to disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
3. Competition Period
3.1. The competition will run from 30th March 2026 to Friday 17th April.
3.2. The competition will take place once per day during the competition period at a random time determined solely by the Promoter.
4. How to Enter & Win
4.1. Listeners must listen to Cornwall’s Rewind Radio for the on-air sound cue: “Oggy Oggy Oggy.”
4.2. When the sound cue is broadcast, entrants must send a voice note via WhatsApp to the official Cornwall’s Rewind Radio competition number stating “Oi Oi Oi.”
4.3. Only voice note entries clearly stating “Oi Oi Oi” will be accepted. Text messages or any other format will not be valid.
4.4. Entries submitted before the sound cue is broadcast will not be valid.
4.5. The first eligible and valid voice note received after the sound cue is played each day will be deemed that day’s winner.
4.6. The time of receipt will be determined by the Promoter’s WhatsApp system records. The Promoter’s decision as to the first valid entry received is final.
4.7. If the first voice note received is found to be ineligible, invalid, unclear, or does not comply with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the next valid entry received.
4.8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for network delays, technical faults, message failures, or any other reason an entry is not received, corrupted, or received late.
5. Winner Restrictions
5.1. Entrants may win a maximum of one 1 prize during the competition period.
5.2. Once an entrant has won a prize, any subsequent entries submitted by that individual during the competition period will be deemed void and removed.
5.3. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
5.4. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.
6. Prizes & Third-Party Providers
6.1. Prizes are supplied by third-party Cornish businesses (“Prize Providers”).
6.2. Some prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by the individual Prize Provider (including but not limited to expiry dates, availability restrictions, booking requirements, or usage limitations).
6.3. By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to comply with any additional terms and conditions set by the relevant Prize Provider.
6.4. The Promoter is not responsible for the fulfilment, quality, availability, suitability, or delivery of any prize.
6.5. Any queries, complaints, or disputes relating to a prize must be directed to the relevant Prize Provider and not to the Promoter.
7. Winner Notification
7.1. Winners will be contacted using the details provided via WhatsApp.
7.2. If a winner does not respond within [insert timeframe – e.g., 24 hours], the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and award it to an alternative eligible entrant.
7.3. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Publicity
8.1. By entering the competition, entrants agree to participate in reasonable publicity if required, including the use of their name, voice note, and likeness on air, online, and across social media channels without additional compensation.
9. Liability
9.1. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrant or winner as a result of entering the competition or accepting a prize.
9.2. The Promoter is not responsible for technical failures, network issues, WhatsApp outages, lost or delayed messages, or any event outside its reasonable control.
9.3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
10. General
10.1. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
10.2. By entering, all participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
10.3. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
