Cornish Dairy Co’s story began in the heart of Cornwall in 1976, when the Clarke family started farming in the beautiful Glynn Valley.
By 1994, our founders Bill and Rachel Clarke were bottling milk at their kitchen table once their children were asleep, then delivering it at dawn to their local customers. Those early mornings and long days laid the foundations for Trewithen Dairy, a business built on quality, care and a belief that great dairy starts with great farming. As demand grew, so did the team, the farms we partnered with and the ambition to bring proper Cornish dairy to more people.
Today, that journey continues through Cornish Dairy Co., the next evolution of our story. Aname that proudly reflects where we’re from and what we do best: producing exceptional Cornish dairy. While our name has recently changed, our values remain the same. The same farms, the same care, the same great dairy.
Based just outside Lostwithiel, we make delicious clotted cream, butter, milk and yoghurt, all crafted with care using fresh Cornish milk from local farmers. Our products celebrate the richness of our landscape, the skill of our farming partners and the unmistakable character of Cornwall itself.
