The Volunteer of the Year Award recognises an individual who has made an outstanding contribution through volunteering over the past year.

Bayly Builders Limited are a family run business based at Prow Park in Newquay and we have over 30 years experience in the construction trade. We cover a wide range of building projects from renovations, extensions and barn conversions to new builds, we have also worked on a project for George Clarke’s Old House, New Home that he carried out in Newquay for Channel 4.
Alongside our residential works we have also worked on some commercial projects including a secondary school music block and a dog kennels. In our team we have a wealth of knowledge and expertise to help our clients from the very early stages of their projects all the way through to completion. We pride ourselves on our professionalism, attention to detail and excellent customer service.
We also like to help out in our community as much as possible, we sponsor 2 players on the local hockey team, we have donated to the coastguard and a dog’s home and we have also helped to construct and install a new wishing well for a local charity in Newquay alongside another local business.
As with a lot of businesses in Cornwall we understand the importance of connection and community, we work with many local trades and companies and those relationships have lasted a very long time. We are very happy to be involved in Cornwall's Rewind Radio’s Cornwall’s Heroes recognising the work of those active and working hard for their communities throughout Cornwall.
